Related Activities- Interests:

Before becoming a Slavist, I had delusions of pursuing a career as a college football coach.   I coached at two Division IA schools and two high school programs before my love for Pushkin, Tolstoi, and Bitov got the better of me.   I still enjoy coaching and talking shop with my former football colleagues and hope at some time to coach high school ball again.
