Summer 2015 Russian Courses

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Slavic Languages and Literature is pleased to announce that it will offer Intensive First, Second, and Third Year Russian in Summer 2015:

Dates: June 15-August 9, 2015

Times: 8:50-10:45 am, 12:05-2:10 pm, Monday-Friday

Summer 2015 tuition rates will be available in late spring, but should be comparable to the tuition rates listed here for the 8-credit course in Summer 2014:

• Wisconsin Resident: $2,600.84

• Non-Resident: $6,663.26

• Minnesota Resident: $3,297.50

Slavic 101 and Slavic 102: Intensive First Year Russian (8 credits)

Slavic 117 and Slavic 118: Intensive Second Year Russian (8 credits)

Slavic 279: Intensive Third Year Russian (8 credits)

Students who are not current UW-Madison students must apply to enroll as University Special Students at least one month in advance of the course. See: http://continuingstudies.wisc.edu/advising/prospective.htm 

Summer 2015 Enrollment Dates:

Grads, Med, Law, Vet, UNCS: March 23

Senior, Pharm: March 24

Juniors, UNIS: March 25

Sophomores: March 26

Freshmen: March 27

Special Students: April 6

Guest Students: May 18 

Students with prior experience in Russian should contact Dr. Anna Tumarkin in advance for a placement test.  

Housing may be available for those enrolled in Summer 2015 Russian courses at UW-Madison through the Division of Housing in Merit or Barnard Halls.
